Our Accommodation

Our apartments and penthouses are designed to make your stay relaxing and comfortable.

Spacious lounges, contemporary décor and furnishings with well equipped kitchens, quality beds and bed linen and powerful showers ensure that your stay with us will be an enjoyable experience.

It is our pleasure to ensure that every guests needs are catered for in our apartments and penthouse’s, of which each has its own hall door and hallway or lobby.

We offer luxury serviced 2-3 bedroom apartments with bathrooms fully furnished to a high standard, city centre location and complementary private parking.

Prices are inclusive of a complementary welcome basket, toiletries, towels, bed linen, taxes, private car park, weekly clean and laundry change over.

There is a small charge for electricity and telephone and fax charges are charged separately.

Secure limited parking available. Car park spaces are allocated at the time of booking. In the case where we have no spaces we offer over night parking from 6pm to 10.30am in the Dawson car park located across the road.

Reservations at Molesworth Court Suites

A non refundable deposit equivalent to the charge for one nights stay is required to be paid at the time of making a reservation.

This can be made by credit card or euro cheque with balance due 4 weeks prior to the arrival date. Where bookings are made within 4 weeks of the arrival date require payment in full is required.

We advise clients to please read our terms and conditions of booking as these set out in detail the terms and conditions which attach to your booking with us.

Terms and Conditions of Booking 

1.        A non-refundable booking deposit of 1 nights stay per  suite is required to confirm accommodation. Should the booking be for a longer period we then require €300. The balance is payable 4 weeks before arrival. An invoice will be issued upon receipt of deposit and final directions and instructions regarding accommodation will be sent on receipt of final payment. Bookings are subject to cancellation by the proprietors if the balance due is not paid 4 weeks before arrival. 

2.       In the event of cancellation, the following charges apply:

4 weeks before date of arrival – booking deposit

1-4 weeks before date of arrival – 50%

1 week or less before date of arrival – 100%

It is strongly advised that Guests take out insurance to cover the possibility of cancellation charges, as the above will be charged in the event of cancellation. 

3.        Telephone and fax charges and electricity for heating and lighting and fuel are extra charges and are payable by the Guest before departure. Electricity charges are based on the individual meter readings. It is recommended that the cost per electricity unit and per telephone unit be checked at the outset. 

4.        A security deposit minimum the value of 1 nights stay must be paid at reception on arrival. This will be returned provided the terms and conditions of booking have been complied with. Final cleaning is included in the tariff but failure to leave a suite in a clean and tidy condition may result in an extra cleaning charge of €17 per hour. Cost of repairs to the property as a result of damage and/or negligence will be deducted from the security deposit with an additional charge where this is insufficient. 

5.        Failure to notify reception of late arrival could result in loss of reservation. 

6.        It is necessary to have an arrival time, as we cannot guarantee entry to the suites. 

7.        The Proprietors are not responsible for any property or valuables in your suite during your stay or any loss of valuables or property during your stay or left after departure. 

8.        The Proprietors, Supervisors or Officers of Board Faille may at all reasonable times visit your unit during occupancy. 

9.        The number of persons stated on the reservation form must not be exceeded without the Proprietors’ permission. In the absence of prior agreement this may not exceed 4 persons in a 1- or 2-bedroom unit or 6 persons in a 3-bedroom unit. 

10.     Pets are not allowed in the suites or on the property. 

11.     In the unlikely event of complaints these should be sent in writing to the Proprietors within 7 days of departure, having first given the opportunity to any shortcomings during your stay. 

12.     Please specify your preferred accommodation unit, which will be allocated to you strictly subject to availability. Proprietors reserve the right to allocate another unit – other than your choice. Appropriate alterations to rates and a refund, if appropriate, will be given. 

13.     Departing Guests are required to check out at 10.30am on the morning of their departure. Late departure can be arranged at an extra charge and subject to availability  

14.     All Guests are required to comply with the terms of this booking form and with the reasonable rules and regulations of Molesworth Court, particularly in relation to safety, fire safety and to the comfort and enjoyment of other Guests. 

15.     Guests having an undue number of visitors, causing a nuisance or being responsible for excessive noise may have their reservation terminated without notice and be required to immediately vacate their accommodation. Where necessary the Garda /Police may be called . 

16.     Guests who leave a credit card or charge card imprint with reception authorise completion of this on their departure for all charges due to Molesworth Court. 

17.     There is a minimum stay of 4 + nights during certain periods of the year, please ask for more information in needed.

Driving Directions from the Airport and all over Ireland.

From the Airport / North

On leaving the airport (coming from the North) head for the direction City Centre ,

Coming closer to the city go over the canal bridge and keep in the left lane, at the traffic lights by The Auld Triangle Pub, turn left onto Gardiner street, drive straight for some distance until you come to the traffic lights at the River Liffey,

Go over the bridge keeping in the right lane and immediately turn right and drive up along the river. Keep in the left lane.

At the traffic lights at O’Connell Bridge, turn left onto D’Olier Street, ahead you will see the side of Trinity College, you need to get to the other side of the college, drive straight and then around the college onto Nassau Street,

Up along Nassau Street and eventually the street becomes one-way, move to the right lane,

After the Kilkenny Shop on the right turn right at the next traffic lights onto Kildare Street,

Drive straight up the street, taking your time as you need to take the 3rd right, at the sign for Dawson Car park, this brings you onto Schoolhouse Lane and we are located near the end on the right hand side, ring the bell for reception and we will come out and open the car park gates for you.

From South and West Ireland

Drive in the direction of the City Centre; eventually you will come to The Quays and the River Liffey.

Drive up along the river,

When you reach O’Connell bridge turn right onto the bridge, ahead of you is the side of Trinity College, you need to get to the other side of the college, drive straight and then around the college onto Nassau Street,

Up along Nassau Street and eventually the street becomes one-way, move to the right lane,

After the Kilkenny Shop on the right turn right at the next traffic lights onto Kildare Street,

From East  

Drive in direction of the city centre, until you come to Leeson Street,

Turn right onto Leeson Street, straight down to the 2nd traffic lights and at St Stephens Green, turn right and drive along the green, at the traffic lights past The Shelbourne Hotel turn right onto Dawson Street.

Drive down to the traffic lights and turn right onto Molesworth Street,

Drive up Molesworth Street to the end and turn right onto Kildare Street, Drive straight up the street, taking your time as you need to take the immediate right, at the sign for Dawson Car park, this brings you onto Schoolhouse Lane and we are located near the end on the right hand side, ring the bell for reception and we will come out and open the car park gates for you. 

Our location explained

Tucked away quietly off Molesworth Street, and just a minutes walk from the famous shopping area of Grafton Street, you will find us on Schoolhouse Lane, located in one of Dublin's most exclusive and central locations, within a few minutes of a selection of fine restaurants of all tastes, shops and some of Dublin's famous traditional pubs. Temple Bar is only a ten minute walk from your front door.

For the business client we are centrally located to Government Buildings, stockbrokers and the well known financial district of the IFSC is only a short walk over the River Liffey.

Whether you are in the City on business or pleasure, we certainly offer a superb quiet place to relax and make it your home from home, and yet minutes from the centre of activity in this lively City.

Coming here by Taxi

A taxi will cost approximately €28 to get here. We advise you to inform the driver to drive up Kildare Street and turn right onto Schoolhouse Lane. We are located near the end of the laneway on the right.

Coming here by Air Coach

This is a very comfortable way to travel, the single fare costs €7 and return is €12. Make sure to get the coach that stops on Kildare Street, just ask the driver. When you get off on Kildare Street just walk straight across the road and down Schoolhouse Lane. We are located near the end on the right. Please ring the bell, the door is kept closed at all times, a member of staff will check you in.

On returning to the Airport, the coach picks you up around the corner from us on Dawson Street. The journey each way takes approximately thirty to forty minutes.
